As I mentioned in the Rue article, plants are an essential element of home decor. House plants bring the outside in, add a splash of color and texture, but most importantly create healthy homes. These all natural air purifiers not only give off oxygen, but some varieties are known to remove harmful chemicals such as ammonia, benzene, formaldehyde, and xylene. In addition, indoor plants can even decrease stress while boosting mood, memory, concentration. A win, win, win right?
