Announcement: My Way Home …

Today, I’m over the moon to share some exciting news about a new venture. I’m now contributing for Wayfair’s new blog, My Way Home! It was an honor and a bit humbling to be selected along side a such  talented group of homemakers including Matthew Mead, Erika Johnson, Katie Bower, Katie Rosenfeld, Cynthia Bogart,  Liren Baker, Susan Serra, Kate Smith and Justin Cave.

Lake Tahoe Fiesta on the Dock

Last weekend I was with family on the East shore of Lake Tahoe {where I grew up} celebrating my Dad’s 70th birthday. For the special occasion, we had a small fiesta style supper on the dock. The décor was kept simple, yet colorful. Here are some images from the event:

Happy Easter and Lamb Cake

Here’s a picture of the sweet lamb cake my mom made for today’s Sunday brunch. It was topped with vanilla frosting , flaked coconut, raisin eyes and a pink jelly bean nose. The cake mold used was my grandmothers! So darn cute… it was hard to cut into!
