Decorating for Valentine’s Day

Do you decorate for Valentine’s Day? It’s okay, I do too. However, decorating for Valentine’s Day unlike Christmas or even Halloween, is more subtle. I keep it simple and don’t overdo it.

Today I’ve teamed up with the super creative folks at Minted to create a festive, yet fresh tablescape for cupid’s favorite holiday. As you’ll see – it’s not all about hearts & arrows – I’ve mixed in some none traditional prints such as the partridge table runner and modern stitch napkins to the mix – these patterns could be used year around which is a win-win. I also included red roses for a traditional touch and a double fudge chocolate cake for something sweet – a Valentine must! The bay window was the perfect place for garland & bunting to deliver a special “love you” message to family and friends.
