Ah, fall is here and I’ve started to think about decorating for Halloween. This year I’m really drawn toward a simple, modern Halloween look and have been searching Pinterest for ideas. One image that stood out were these darling diy modern painted pumkins. It sounds like they are easy enough to create and you can find out how by visiting the.beauty.dojo.

Hello Friday! Not only is it my favorite day of the week, but it’s an extra special one at that. Today here in the San Francisco Bay Area we are celebrating the rain (at long last!), Halloween (kids are geared up!) and of course our 2014 World Series Champions SF Giants (for the 3rd time in five years might I add)! Love this image below… captures the thrill of the win. They never give up. So proud of our team!

While we soak in the big win and the ground the rain, we will be carving our pumpkins this afternoon for Halloween. I’ve spotted some fun ideas at on Pinterest via BHG.

Love this bonfire pumpkin idea!

Also digging these painted black pumpkins. The lite orange inside is really striking.

But, think we may have to download one of these stencils for our World Series champs!
