The Buzz :: Fall Favorites

As the fall months approach, it’s a great time to refresh your home. I’ve noticed that I’m gravitating to cool whites and deep indigo blues. Although not typically associated with the fall, the color palette is a great one for any season. It’s timeless. Here are a few swoon worthy fall favorites that caught my eye.

Hampton Designer Showhouse 2015

Need a little dose of sophisticated, yet relaxed Hampton style? Take a peek into the Hampton Designer Showhouse 2015 featuring 25 top tier interior designers. Located at 233 Old Sage Harbor Road in Bridgehampton, New York the designers transformed the barn style house into a decorating masterpiece. One notable trend throughout the home was the use of the color blue. I’ve pulled a few images of the showhouse featuring the the hue that typifies coastal living.

classic clue & white decor // mark d. sikes

This elegant blue and white table vignette for Legends of la Cienega 2014 designed by Mark D. Sikes struck a cord with me. I’m drawn to the layered patterns, chinoiserie touches and brilliant blues. The timeless color palette is on trend again and here are a few home décor favorites I’ve spotted recently:

Baby Boy Nursery Design by Caitlin Flemming

disclosure: This post contains an affiliate links, which means Simplified Bee receives commission if you make a purchase using these links.

Sophisticated, timeless and just plain adorable. The nursery created by Caitlin Flemming, interior designer and the voice behind the Sacramento Street blog is all that. Featured on Rue Daily last week, Caitlin shares the sweet room that welcomed her son, Jackson. The neutral room is grounded in beiges and whites (great starting points for either gender) and then layered with blue accents. It’s clearly a baby’s room, although sophisticated art, rich textiles and timeless furnishings make it a space that adults would love to hang out in as well. Bravo Caitlin!
