I love the clean, contemporary base which comes in a variety of colors. I think a pair would look great flanking a bed, sofa or console table.

Our Halloween Front Porch and 25% Off Lulu & Georgia

For the last couple weeks, my kids have been begging me to decorate our home for Halloween. So, this past weekend we got to work and now our house is inundated with creepy rats, crawly spiders and erry bats. The sight does make one’s skin crawl.

For the front door (the most important area to decorate for Halloween!), we kept it fairly simple and started with a chic orange geometric doormat kindly provided by Lulu & Georgia. The orange instantly says Halloween, but can be used year around. A large pumpkin, magnolia wreath and a family of mice were added to the Halloween front porch to greet our guests. The mice were created using this template and black paper. Frightfully simple to do!

Modern Nursery Design :: Get the Look

This adorable gender neutral, modern nursery was featured on The Handmade Home via Pinterest. The white walls, clean-lined crib (very affordable!) and whimsical wallpapered ceiling give the room it’s modern feel.
