Friday Find :: Belle & Boo Timeless Kids’ Décor

I’m always on the lookout for darling décor for kids’ spaces. Recently I came across the Etsy store, Belle & Boo and was smitten. The British company is known for it’s original, nostalgic ‘story book’ illustrations of children. The collection which includes art, textiles and paper goods has a wonderful innocent, adventurous and timeless look that both kids and parents would love. Here’s a look at some of my faves:

I am also head-over-heels for Belle & Boo’s paper goods – The Sticky Tape Parade is brilliant!

Giveaway :: Personalized Back-to-School Labels

I hate to rush you into thinking about back-to-school, but the fact is it will be here before you know it. Getting organized ahead of time will help reduce stress that might build up before the first day. One way is to label everything heading to school: backpacks, lunch boxes, sports gear and uniforms, water bottles and art smocks and rest easy knowing expensive school supplies and gear won’t end up in the lost-and-found bin.

Name Bubbles, a terrific personalized name manufacture wants to help you. Their  press-and-stick labels are durable, waterproof and make back-to-school worry free; simply place them on all back-to-school items including backpacks, lunch boxes, jackets and water bottles. Each label is crafted with quality and style that children will love, and a durability that parents can trust.

New this back-to-school season are Lunch Box Labels – the message label that can be used again and again. Like all Name Bubbles products, Write On! Labels are durable and waterproof. A feature I love is that parents can apply the label directly to a child’s lunchbox and then add a handwritten note for them to read each day, such as ‘Good luck on your test!’ or ‘I love you!’ So cute, right?

Top 7 Stylish Daily Planners for 2013

*** New Post for 2014 Daily Planners!
Keeping a calendar is the most fundamental step to managing your daily activities and is important  to getting the new school year and 2013 off to the right start. By logging appointments, events and assignments in a daily planner, you can reduce stress by knowing that you aren’t forgetting anything. When kept up-to-date, a planner allows you to find needed information quickly, prioritize effectively and schedule appointments immediately.
Even though there are great online calendar options, I still enjoy writing down our household schedule in a  traditional daily planner. With so many stylish designs available, the tough part is selecting one!

Here’s my list of favorite planners for 2013:
