Let’s talk wallcoverings. They are a critical part of setting the mood in any space. Walls are a great place to add color, pattern and texture. Glam them up or tone them down using paint (typically the least expensive route), wallpaper (more expensive, but great way to incorporate pattern) or fabric (typically the most expensive). She hired interior designer and friend, Maggie Pierson to execute her vision of an inviting home that flowed and was well suited for entertaining. Need a little dose of sophisticated, yet relaxed Hampton style? Take a peek into the Hampton Designer Showhouse 2015 featuring 25 top tier interior designers. Located at 233 Old Sage Harbor Road in Bridgehampton, New York the designers transformed the barn style house into a decorating masterpiece. One notable trend throughout the home was the use of the color blue. I’ve pulled a few images of the showhouse featuring the the hue that typifies coastal living.

In just five short months from first meeting to installation, San Francisco-based interior designer, Nicole Hollis created the cutest bedrooms for three very lucky sisters. I first spotted the bright, whimsical designs on Instagram and had to take a closer look at the feature in Lonny.
Each room is distinctly different, yet all are full of personality, color (a dose of girly hot pink spotted throughout) and whimsical wallcoverings. Built-in desks, bookcases and smart storage help keep each space stylishly organized. Love it all! Take a peek for yourself.
