2014 is Kate Spade’s year of “places to go and people to see.” This month the destination is Capri – Italy’s high profile Mediterranean island that has drawn celebrities, artists and writers for centuries. As you will see, Kate Spade’s new spring collection is inspired by the island’s resort vibe, ocean vistas and popular limoncello drinks.
A couple weeks ago, I had the pleasure of viewing the new Capri collection with fellow blogger Michaela at the Kate Spade store in Palo Alto, California. I love it’s fresh, yet retro look. From dresses to hats, handbags to sandals, this playful collection will have you looking great for that spring break vacation!
Michaela (um so pretty, could be a model!) snapped some images of us trying on our favorite outfits from the collection. How cute is she above in that little black dress and bamboo wedge?
We both loved this casual outfit with “ciao baby” tee, capri lemon jeans, and t-strap bow sandals. Want it all!

I also fell in love with this beautiful floral lace top and gold knot necklace.
And how cute is this lemon slice clutch?
As you can see, I fell in love with so many items, but ended up picking up a pair of gold sandals for myself. But, I’m still contemplating several items including the fun accessories! Here are some of my faves…
