Interior designer Celerie Kemble delivers a fresh twist on the classics as she brings a new perspective to timeless patterns in her debut wallcovering collection for Schumacher. Love it! The dynamic collection features a bold, vibrant and sophisticated color palette ranging from black, gold and ivory to orange, turquoise and plum. Hand printed on sisals, Kemble’s exquisite patterns are pulls inspiration from botanical elements and archival textile designs.

Friday Find: Katie Leede Fabrics

Katie Leede Hamptons Showhouse Bedroom

LA-based interior designer, Katie Leede is not only known for creating beautiful spaces, but textiles as well. In this year’s Hampton Designer Showhouse she turned heads by covering the walls in Menna, an Egyptian inspired print on linen from her Ra Collection. It’s just one of many swoon-worthy fabrics created by Katie. Here are a few more images from her exquisite textile collection…

Sneak Peek: West Elm Holiday 2012

West_Elm_Holiday_Decor_2012

West Elm is sharing a sneak peek at their holiday look books for decor, entertaining and trim. This holiday season is all about metallics, patched fabrics, reclaimed wood, paper flowers, animals, cool tones and vibrant colors. West Elm has also teamed up with some fabulous designers. I’m most excited about the collaborations with Sarah Campbell (colorful pillows, trays and paper  flowers), Laura Zindel (autumnal plates and serving pieces) and Allegra Hicks (dinnerware, bedding, pillows and accessories).

Find Find: Cement Succulents by Waterstone

Today’s Friday Find combines several things I love… succulents, Etsy, ceramics and Pinterest.

Cement Succulents by Waterstone on Etsy

I first saw these unique succulents on Pinterest and simply fell in love with them. They are the beautiful creations by Michelle Weddle and can be purchased through her Etsy store, Waterstone.  Each are handcrafted and cast from molds Michelle designs of various succulent species with strong gypsum cement.

“It’s a process that allows me to recreate the unique form of one particularly delightful specimen many times over. To me, they are treasured relics, comparable to a pristine white sand dollar or the shell of a sea urchin.” says Michelle in a recent article on Etsy’s blog.

They would be great additions to a bookcase, bedside table or dining room table. Best yet.. they don’t need to be watered!

Happy Friday!
