You’ve Been Boo’d – Happy Halloween!

Halloween_Boo'd_Template_Printout
Getting boo’d is a fun tradition in our neighborhood we look forward to. This year my kids were really into helping make the baskets for the families we were going to “boo.” Candies and other Halloween trinkets went in the baskets, but I thought my oldest had the best idea to wrap them in fake spider webs. Isn’t that so creative?

Once you’ve been “boo’d” you place the sign on your front door to let other neighbors know. Our boo sign somehow disappeared. My youngest said that the oldest threw it away hoping we would be boo’d again. {smile} So, we made our own boo sign {above}, but below is a darling you can download at {grey square designs} via Pinterest.

Halloween 2010 was especially exciting for us – great weather, fun trick-or-treating and a huge San Francisco Giants win in the World Series!
The festive weekend has us all moving a little slower this morning. And it seems that the day after a big holiday is always filled with mixed emotions:
Sad to see it all go by so quickly.
Happy for it be over.
Bummed about cleaning up.

But, looking forward to the next holiday.
Yes, I’ve started prepping for Thanksgiving. Above is a sneak peak at the linens, China and place-cards we’ll be using this year. Haven’t even thought about Thanksgiving or need some inspiration? Here are some fun ideas on setting and decorating your table for Thanksgiving to get you in the mood.
Today I’ll be cleaning-up, taking down and storing all the Halloween decorations. What’s on your list of things to do?
