With several nieces and nephews ranging in age from one to fifteen, I have quite a bit of shopping to do. Baby Boy Nursery Design by Caitlin Flemming

Sophisticated, timeless and just plain adorable. The nursery created by Caitlin Flemming, interior designer and the voice behind the Sacramento Street blog is all that. Featured on Rue Daily last week, Caitlin shares the sweet room that welcomed her son, Jackson. The neutral room is grounded in beiges and whites (great starting points for either gender) and then layered with blue accents. It’s clearly a baby’s room, although sophisticated art, rich textiles and timeless furnishings make it a space that adults would love to hang out in as well. Bravo Caitlin!

Design Board :: Gender Neutral Toddler Room

This past week I stumbled upon a fabulous decor blog focused on family. It was an image posted on Pinterest that drew me to Design Mom, but the touching story about the Coleman family home that had me hooked. You’ll have to visit the Design Mom blog too.

Handmade Christmas Gifts for Kids to Make

While I was getting crafty and decorating glass globe ornaments, one of my little ones asked if she could help. Because the glass ornaments were too fragile (one had already broke – should have picked up the plastic globe ornaments in retrospect!) and I sadly declined her offer. It made me think of holiday crafts that would be great for the little ones and would make fabulous gifts as well. I’m sharing five of my fave handmade Christmas gifts for kids at Wayfair!
