Happy Halloween & Congrats SF Giants

colorful pumpkins for fall // simplified bee

Hello Friday! Not only is it my favorite day of the week, but it’s an extra special one at that. Today here in the San Francisco Bay Area we are celebrating the rain (at long last!), Halloween (kids are geared up!) and of course our 2014 World Series Champions SF Giants (for the 3rd time in five years might I add)! Love this image below… captures the thrill of the win. They never give up. So proud of our team!

While we soak in the big win and the ground the rain, we will be carving our pumpkins this afternoon for Halloween. I’ve spotted some fun ideas at on Pinterest via BHG.

Halloween Decoration Ideas

Holy cow, Halloween is almost here and I’m behind the eight ball! My kids have been pointing out some of the homes in the neighborhood that have already decorated for the spooky holiday and asking when we will decorate our own home. This weekend I tell them knowing that I’ll have to keep my promise.

So to get me and many of you inspired and motivated for Halloween decorating, I’ve pulled several of my most popular images from my Halloween Pinterest board to share.

Halloween Decor :: Decoupage Pumpkins

decoupage pumpkin for Halloween

This black and white decoupage pumpkin by County Living has me thinking. To create the eye-catching look, they used a faux pumpkin and over 120 photocopied images from Pictoral Webster’s.  It’s a brilliant no carve solution perfect for kids that could be used year after year. I just might have to try it this Halloween!

Happy Decorating!
