With Easter just a few short weeks away, I’ve been gathering ideas for celebrating the special day. I’ve been amazed at all the creativity and especially the beautiful Easter egg designs out there. As I look back over the past year, it always amazes me how fast it goes by. 2014 was a busy, yet rewarding year both personally and professionally. With the Easter holiday just a few weeks away (did it sneak up on you too?), I thought it was time to share some of my favorite DIY Easter Ideas spotted on Pinterest.
How cute are these DIY mini egg pinatas from Oh Happy Day?! Filled with candy, confetti or small trinkets, they would be great party decor as well as the perfect party favor!
Using metal leaf and washi tape, miss renaissance created some of glitziest Easter eggs around. I’ve gotta try this.
Welcome Easter guests with this sweet bunny topiary wreath for the front door. The House That Lars Built used crepe paper, but boxwood branches works too!
Pineapples are trending in home decor right now, so I was drawn to these fun Easter eggs. With a few eggs, green craft paper and bright yellow paint, Studio DIY crafted up these beauties in no time.
These gilded bunny placecard holders are a festive way to set the table for Easter brunch. The Sweetest Occasion simply took plastic bunny toys, wire and gold paint to create them. Love!

I too have been scrabbling this week prepping for the Easter celebration. And for all of you looking for last minute ideas, I’ve pulled some of the most inspiring Easter crafts and decorations on Pinterest. I hope they inspire you too!
These eggs are all naturally dyed. Love!
Simple and sweet. These farm fresh eggs were decorated with a white paint pen. Yep, that’s it!
These water color Easter eggs are so pretty and easy to do.
Create darling butterfly treat bags using a sandwich bag, clothes pin, googly eyes and pipe cleaners.
I also really thought these bunny ear Easter treat bags were super cute.
Bunny ear napkins and jars filled with jelly beans and chocolate bunnies are perfect to decorate the table for Easter brunch.
Decorating the chair backs with a paper floral wreath would also be a wonderful touch for an Easter brunch.

This is an Easter lamb cake that my mom made a few years ago for an Easter brunch. The lamb cake mold was my grandmother’s, so it was extra special.
